The LNG Canada terminus and pipeline project is the largest private investment in Canadian history. The natural gas liquefaction facility and marine terminal which will support the global export of LNG from western Canada is being constructed in Kitimat, British Columbia. Such a significant undertaking in the District of Kitimat has created an influx of highly-skilled workers to the area from surrounding communities and across Canada. Dexterra Group identified a requirement for appropriate accommodations to support the needs of contractors on this project and the many others ongoing in this area of British Columbia. This was the impetus for the construction of the world-class Crossroads Lodge.
Crossroads Lodge opened in 2019 and offers more than 700 hotel management style rooms that provide industry-leading accommodations in Kitimat. Constructed at the entrance to town on Highway 37, the lodge offers easy access by vehicle or bus.
Along with its proximity to the LNG Canada site and other operations in the District of Kitimat and Terrace regions, Crossroads’ amenities are designed to support the performance and productivity of work crews and other guests. Remote operations can mean long hours of tiring work. Elements of the lodge like the fitness center, recreational rooms and all-inclusive, high-quality dining create an atmosphere for rest, relaxation and recharging.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the lodge is executing a comprehensive pandemic response plan to continue to provide services while ensuring the safety of all guests and staff on-site.
Crossroads Lodge is the perfect solution for business travelers to Kitimat and the areas surrounding. For room availability and pricing for you and your team members, please contact email@example.com.
